Kalamuni Temple is a sight seeing place about 10 km from Munshiyari. Apart from temple, the view of Himlayas from Kalmuni Top is gorgeous.
On the way to Munsiyari one has to cross this pass which is 9500 feet and temple of goddess Kali Maa the temple is very good to visit where we saw Naga sadhu's and statue of founder Maharaj. This place is very cold . The temple contains idols of goddess Kali, Shiva lingam, Ganesh and that of saint Kalamuni.
There is a very interesting fresco of the goddess in the outer walls of the temple. Kalamuni Top is at a height of 9,500 ft on the main route to Munsiyari from the Birthi Falls. There is an old Kali temple at this hilltop from where the Panchchuli mountain range can be seen.
The jaurney of kalamuni top can be done throughtout the year,but the best time ti visit here is between the months of October to may.
trevelling here in these months is the best ejoyable.during the winter seasons,the weather of here is cold. Due to snowfall on the surrounding hills in the season, the temprature og here goess down very much.
Due to heavy rains in the season,it is bit difficults to travel of here because of the heavy rains threatering lansdsliders.
