Chauli ki Jali is one of the most beautiful spots in the whole Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The Chauli ki Jali actually has a stone with a hole on it. This hole has been subjected to several myths.
 
One of the most prominent myths is that if one crosses this stone hole on the event of Shivratri then they would be definitely be successful in conceiving a child. However, this myth has been proved correct by several women villagers nearby who came here to ask God for help and have been blessed with a child after some time.
 
Women of all the surrounding villages gather in Chauli ki Jali on Shivratri after worshipping Mukteshwar Mahadev on the night before to either thank the Lord for all his blessings or for asking for a miracle or a blessing in their own lives.
 
It is a huge event and there is rarely any security there, however the women still return safely owing to their faith.

Chauli ki Jali a favourite among the adventurous and the trekkers lovers. The trekking and paragliding is one of the famous tourist activity here along with various adventure sports too which is sure to give one some adrenaline rush.
