1st Day | First Half
Place we cover: Naini Lake Naina Peak
Situated in the centre of Nainital, Naini Lake (short for Nainital Lake) is a beautiful natural fresh body lake. The lake is in crescent or kidney shape and is one of the most famous lakes of the Kumaon region. Naina Peak is situated at an altitude of 2615 m. The peak was renamed from China Peak to Naina Peak after the 1962 war with China. This highest point of this mountain is widely known for its amazing natural surroundings and the snow-covered mountains all around.

1st Day | Second Half
Place we cover: Naina Devi Temple Hanuman Garhi
This is one of the 51 shaktipeethas (where the severed body parts of Goddess Sati fell) associated with the cult of Goddess Durga. It is believed that this is the location where the eyes of Goddess Sati fell and that is why the temple is called Naina (literally meaning eyes) Devi. The temple holds great mythological significance as it was built by Neem Karoli Baba who was a famous saint during the 1950s. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman who is believed to be the epitome of strength, loyalty and dedication.

Place we cover: Nainital Zoo Tiffin Top
Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant High Altitude Zoo is a high altitude zoo situated in Nainital, Kumaon. Established in 1984 and opened to public in 1995, it is situated on the Sher Ka Danda hill at a height of 2,100 metres (6,900 ft) above sea-level and is spread over 4.6 hectares (11 acres). NANainital, the jewel of Kumaon is a very popular hill station not just among the north Indians but across the whole subcontinent as well as among the foreign tourists. Nainital is also sometimes called the Lake district of India as the hill station has been adorned with some of the major lakes of India notably Naini Lake, Bhimtal, Naukuchya Tal etc. Another major attraction which is frequently flocked by tourists is the Tiffin Top.

Place we cover: Mall Road Snow view point
The Mall Road is most famous for shopping. You can shop for a wide variety of candles, woollens, wooden artifacts and aroma products. Also look out for fruit derivatives like jams, candies, juices, syrups, bamboo fabric and the Bal mithai which is staple sweet of Nainital. If you wish to witness snow-covered mountain tops emerging from clouds, offering different shades of sunlight and a mirror-like glare from far away, Snow View Point is your destination. Located just 2 km away from the Nainital city center is the Snow View Point offering its visitors an exceptional and bewitching view of the snow-covered Nanda Devi peak, Nanda Kot peak and the Trishul peak.

Place we cover: Khurpatal Kilbury
Till the 19th century AD, Khurpatal was famous for making iron implements but today it more recognized for vegetable farms. Khurpatal seems a secret haven hidden in the hills, that is why it is still echoing with the sounds of nature and not the machine age man and his boisterousness. Kilbury is slightly away from Nainital. At an altitude of 2194 mts. and 12 Kms. from the town this place is accessible by a motor able road. Located amidst green forests this tranquil place provided a break from the city. Kilbury also gives a breathtaking view of Himalaya. There is a forest rest house for night stay. Kilbury is an ideal spot for a quiet and peaceful holiday.

Pangot is a small picturesque hamlet famous for its jungles and birds, located just 15 kms from Nainital. Walking into Pangot is like stepping into a remote Himalayan village. It is a birdwatchers paradise and have more than 300 species of birds in and around. The Aerial Ropeway in Nainital is one of the biggest tourist attractions. With hundreds of visitors flying in each day, aerial ropeway carries people from Mallital to the Snow View Point, one of the popular places to visit in Nainital. This three-minute ride is no less than a dream as it offers you the best bird-eye view of the Nainital City and Naini Lake.
